Online Storage (backup) of Your Stuff

Here are tools to Store & Edit your documents using just the web. Great alternative if you don't have your own computer. Besides backup needs, you have instant access to your files on-the-go from any Internet-ready computer. This called is "Cloud Computing." Documents are Microsoft Office compatible.

Desk Volunteer Tips
  • Lets greet Everyone Immediately. Say, "Welcome, Come On In!" or "Welcome to PROFILE of Santa Cruz." You can even add "...a Chapter of Experience Unlimited."
  • Always offer a PROFILE workshop calender to ALL walk-ins while saying hello (and tic-mark Walk-ins on the Daily Desk Log.)
  • Read the desk blotter script about PROFILE aloud as it says just exactly what needs saying .
  • Understand the enrollment procedure as documented in the orange "Scheduled" folder (a tracking folder) inside front cover. Use the instructions as a check list during the sign-up process. Please review instructions OFTEN & BEFOREHAND. Understand that doing things inconsistently is unprofessional.
  • Have the guest sit at the table to fill out the enrollment forms but don't hover over them.
  • Emphasize the networking and building job search skills.
  • Do NOT start off or emphasize the hours requirements or bore folks with details that are explained during Orientation. Just say, if needed, "PROFILE is an all volunteer networking club with active members expected to contribute 16 hours per calendar month, which covers all your time onsite except your own personal job search."
General Meetings:

General Meetings are held Monday @ 3PM often followed by a Guest Speaker @ 3:30PM. Active PROFILE members attend a minimum of two (2) of General Meetings per calendar month. General Meetings and Guest Speakers counted as one-hour minimum each for your time log. The PROFILE Office is closed to all, including Desk Volunteers during General Meetings.
