How to Join PROFILE

Stop by the PROFILE office, and the PROFILE volunteer at the front desk will help you fill out a short enrollment form and schedule you for the required Core Workshops. PROFILE membership begins upon completion of these workshops. The PROFILE office is located inside the WorkForce building at 2045-40th Ave., Capitola, CA. PROFILE is open weekdays 9-4:30.

New members:

• Register with CalJOBS
• Attend the core workshops which are:
  • Orientation/Job Search Basic Training
  • PSR - Problem Solution Results

Member's Obligations at PROFILE

PROFILE effectiveness wholly depends on the efforts of its members, volunteers, and alumni.

Members obligated to volunteer for a minimum of sixteen (16) hours per month of PROFILE related work until they are gainfully employed. This obligation can be accomplished by a combination of the following:

• Contributing a minimum of two desk volunteer shifts per month (four hours.)
• Attending a minimum of two General meetings.
• Attending a minimum of two Department meetings.
• Doing projects for PROFILE departments.
• Helping to facilitate workshops in coordination with the Training department.
• Attending workshops.
